Bang Bang Burrito approached Filthy Media to create the visual identity for their flagship outlet in central Brighton.
To reflect the essence of Mexico, we based the logo on the sugar skull, a traditional Latin-American symbol. For the interior we chose a mixture of corrugated panelling, iron fixings and wooden shelving for a contemporary Mexican street stall aesthetic. Across the walls we applied a layering of typographic prints, reminiscent of Mexican wrestling posters. The posters were pasted up, ripped and re-applied for an authentic, worn-in look.
