Across the Dotted Line

Joel Derksen combines atonal music, turkish tiles, collage, patterns and lots of color, in this design created for the unique space in the old Truman Brewery in London.

Across the Dotted line brings patterns discovered in East London together with torn paper and colour in the 3-meter-high site-specific collage that plays with corners, pillars, and floors. It is a dizzying re-interpretation of Shoreditch.

@joannebyrne.hello designed this signage system for Dublin’s Docklands. The signage highlights six sites of interest along the Dublin Docklands section of the River Liffey. Illustrations accompany the description of each place of interest, most of which can be seen from the location of the panel. The title is fret cut from powder-coated metal and the design is screen printed.
