The Temple of Agape

Morag Myerscough and Luke Morgan designed this colorful project for the summer ‘Festival of Love’.

Bright neon colors and bold typography make up the new project designed by Morag Myerscough and Luke Morgan. They were commissioned by the Southbank Centre for their summer ‘Festival of Love’.

The Southbank Centre commissioned several artists and designers to create different pieces based on seven ancient greek themes of love: agape, storge, pragma, philia, philautia, eros & ludos.

The Temple of Agape is a celebration of the love of humanity, and invites people to come in, make themselves confortable, and enjoy the eye candy that’s characteristic of Morag & Luke style. During the festival, the structures were used for events and performances.

The festival was held on the months of July and August of this year. (2014).

‘working on the project has reinforced for us that love in all its guises is not simple. at the same time, when you are in love, it can be the purest and simplest place to be.’ – Morag & Luke.
