P-06 Atelier was commissioned by EPAL– Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres, to develop a way finding system for their company.

EPAL is a portuguese company that’s responsible for a water supply system which stretches for more than 2.100 kilometers.

It supplies quality water to around 3 million people in 32 districts to the north of the River Tagus, corresponding to a total area supplied of 6.947 Km². It has contracts with around 350 thousand direct clients in the district of Lisbon, providing the domestic supply.

This wayfinding project combines vibrant colors and graphic interventions derived from chemical formulas. Cobalt blue and pure white signal specific areas, guiding the visitor from the inside out. The formulas themselves delimit different spaces, and give character to the intervention.
